350 hp and four-wheel drive

When it comes to high performance saloon cars, the Germans set the standard. Nevertheless, Sweden-based to join the party with a new “Polestar” version of the S60 saloon and the V60 estate. The Scandinavian car manufacturer’s ambition is quite simple: provide a sporty version of its saloon car by means of the best technology and specific preparation. The four-wheel drive S60 Polestar comes with a 350 hp six-cylinder engine. Admittedly, the Audi RS5 and the BMW M3 are still more powerful, but on paper, the Volvo has enough power to tackle an Audi S4 or a BMW M335i. Volvo announces an acceleration of 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 kilometres per hour; honourable results for the category.
