During an emergency braking situation, my semi-trailer wheels locked and I see that brake marks have been left on the tyre. Can I continue to run with there tyres?

Several things must be checked before the tyre can be used. You must check that the tyre’s metal plies are not visible. If you find that the tyre has no rubber left and that the plies are visible, then the tyre must be taken off the road. If the plies are not visible, check the brake components to avoid any problem of brakes locking up and check the level of tyre wear which must comply with current regulations.
