Today, the Continental Group owns the Czech tyre brand Barum.
1945: merger of three companies - Zlin-based Bata, Nachod-based Rubena, and Mitas – into BARUM in Czechoslovakia. The Barum company was born.
1967: the first radial tyre is manufactured.
1992: the Continental Group buys out the company.
